The CASN Nursing Informatics Inventory: A Report of Existing Teaching and Learning Resources was created to help increase the capacity of Canadian nurse educators to teach nursing informatics at an undergraduate level. The inventory includes both Canadian and international resources, and focuses particularly on those that offer guidance on the integration of nursing informatics into curricula and practice. For ease of use, the resources in the inventory are categorized in two ways: 1) They are categorized by the three entry-to-practice nursing informatics competencies (previously identified by CASN), and 2) the resources are listed in alphabetical order, in a table that identifies each of the competencies that the resource applies to. The inventory also identifies supplementary resources that provide general guidance and awareness about the use of information and communication technologies in the delivery of care.
