Dalhousie University will follow the Nova Scotia Government guidelines for teaching infection control. At no time will students of Dalhousie University be in contact with known infected persons. The university will neither assign nor withdraw students from affected units. Teaching infection control and raising awareness of the issue will be its course of action.  Initials screenings will not likely be undertaken by students.  A disaster planning elective with respect to the Ebola outbreak may be planned and delivered as part of the curriculum.

Thompson Rivers University
The School of Nursing at Thompson Rivers University will be holding a forum with other faculty on campus related to Ebola preparedness on October 30th. The forum is to assist with raising awareness of the systems in place for EVD preparedness and also to decrease the anxiety or uncertainty of the situation.
