(Ottawa, October 23, 2014) The Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN) and Certified Profile, North America’s leading background screening and compliance management solutions provider for colleges and universities, are proud to announce the publication of the first edition of Quality Advancement in NursingEducation – Avancées en formation infirmière, a bilingual, blind peer review journal, which addresses questions related specifically to quality advancement in nursing education. Quality Advancement in Nursing Education – Avancées en formation infirmière provides a forum where issues concerning the quality of nursing education at the system, institutional, or organizational level are discussed. CASN is pleased to be working with Certified Profile, who is providing generous support for the publication of this journal.

Co-Editors in Chief Jacinthe Pepin, inf., Ph.D (Université de Montréal) and Florence Myrick, RN, PHD (University of Alberta) have been pivotal in the realization of this timely publication. We are proud to announce that the first edition is now available online.
